Standards for the Mining Industry
Home – Shipping Policy
At Global Agri and Metal Tech Ltd, we are committed to ensuring safe, timely, and compliant delivery of all minerals, metals, and recycled materials to our global clients. This Shipping Policy outlines our procedures, responsibilities, and the expectations for buyers when arranging transportation and receiving shipments.
We ship products through major African ports such as Dar es Salaam, Mombasa, Durban, Walvis Bay, Beira, and Conakry, depending on product type and buyer location. Shipping terms are available under FOB, CIF, CFR, and EXW, and are agreed upon before finalizing the contract. For refined gold and high-value materials, air freight options are also available through approved cargo terminals.
All shipments are professionally packaged to ensure safety and compliance. Mineral ores and concentrates are loaded in bulk containers or heavy-duty industrial bags. Scrap metal is shipped in containers, bundled, baled, briquetted, or loose-loaded depending on grade and buyer requirements. Refined metals such as copper cathodes are palletized and strapped securely, while refined gold is transported in sealed, tamper-proof containers with full documentation.
Every order undergoes weight verification, inspection, and quality checks prior to dispatch. We provide all necessary export documentation, including packing lists, certificates of origin, assay reports, export permits, and customs paperwork. Third-party inspections (SGS, Intertek, Bureau Veritas) can be arranged at the buyer’s request or as stated in the sales contract.
Transit times vary by destination, preferred shipping line, and port congestion. Once goods are handed over to the shipping line or logistics partner, buyers receive tracking details, shipping documents, and continuous updates until arrival. For CIF shipments, insurance coverage is included according to contract terms; for FOB or EXW arrangements, buyers may request additional cargo insurance at their discretion.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure readiness to receive cargo at the destination port, complete required customs procedures, and arrange onward transportation after clearance. Any delays caused by incomplete documentation on the buyer’s side, demurrage fees, or port storage charges are not the responsibility of Global Agri and Metal Tech Ltd.
We take pride in maintaining a transparent, reliable, and secure shipping process that supports long-term business partnerships. For any questions or shipment-specific requirements, our logistics team is always available to provide guidance and support throughout the entire delivery process.
We are a diversified mining and mineral sourcing company operating across Tanzania and wider Africa. Through our own extraction sites and a strong network of trusted mining partners, we ensure consistent bulk supply of high-quality metals, ores, and recycled scrap materials for global industries.
